GetPivotData ? Business Management Daily: Free Reports on ...

If you receive an Excel workbook with a Pivot Table in it and try to use the cells in a formula, you?ve probably seen the GetPivotData reference. GetPivotData has some very good uses, but it can be frustrating if you just want to refer to particular values in a range of cells in a Pivot Table.

With your cursor in the Pivot Table, click the Pivot Table Tools Options contextual tab. You?ll find an Options button on the far left. Click on the dropdown arrow to its right. You?ll find an option to turn off the Generate GetPivotData tool.
