Adding Receptacles Transition Inside Corner - Electrical - DIY ...

Looking at the photo, what I want to do is put a J-Box & duplex receptacle(shown in red) so that I can plug in items on that side of the wall(cable modem & lawn sprinkler) into that duplex.

Also that J-Box(in red) will be used to feed other downstream basement receptacles at a later date.

I'll grab power for the new duplex from the load side of a GFCI. The GFCI is not visible in the photo but is underneath the 6-way adaptor at the lower right side of the panel.

My question is what is the best way span the area in yellow in the photo to run the wire to the new J-Box/Duplex?

Would you use a stub of EMT from the current J-Box/GFCI-------->to an EMT Inside Pull Elbow-------->stub of EMT-----------> new J-Box/Duplex.

Or can flexible metal conduit be used from the current J-Box/GFCI to the new J-Box/Duplex?
